International Museum of Art is a 501(c)3 supporting organization
established in 1985 dedicated to encourage art festivals and art
education in the El Paso region.
The Association produces the Kermezaar,
which began at the Sunland Park Race track in 1970.
This year at the request of many of our
artists, we are relocating to The International Museum of Art, 1211
Montana Avenue. The Museum is dedicated to the exhibition of quality
art, focusing on art education and art services for the community.
In 1999 the museum was remodeled and
restored to its 1910 grandeur; when it was the home of Mr. & Mrs. W.W.
Turney. We are proud to be hosting the 38yr annual Kermezaasr at our
fine museum. We hope this is a successful move and one that the
participating artists will approve.
Over 100 volunteers will be donating
their time so that you, the artists, will have a successful show and a
pleasant experience. Kermezaar is managed by a Volunteer Board.
